This version of St. Patrick's Day comes from the dancing master, Jeremiah Molyneaux (1883-1967), who was from North Kerry. This is slowly becoming a very popular version but has yet to be learned in many parts so I'm happy to share it with you now!
I learned this from my MA supervisor, Catherine Foley. She's well known for her extensive research on the dancing of Jeremiah and his immense influence on the dancing tradition of North Kerry. I have a few of her books listed in the reading list section of the website if you're curious to learn more about this beautiful dancing tradition.
